Studio Nippoldt

In 2012 Studio Nippoldt was founded as an artistic joint project of siblings Astrid and Robert Nippoldt. Their focus is on portrait drawings, book and TV illustrations, editorials and scientific illustrations.

International clients include private and public-sector clients as well as publishers, universities, foundations and museums, e.g. The New Yorker, Diogenes, ARTE, Vanity Fair, ZEIT, Le Monde, Los Angeles Magazine, Philosophie Magazin, ETH Zurich, University of Basel, University of St. Gallen, Bayerischer Rundfunk, The City of Münster, Konrad Adenauer Foundation, TASCHEN, Jacoby & Stuart, WBGU, Die Andere Bibliothek, mareverlag, Gruner + Jahr, Schwager & Steinlein Verlag, Pentagram, Readers Digest, Heimathafen Neukölln and others.

Visual artist Astrid Nippoldt first earned a degree in graphic arts from the Münster University of Applied Sciences followed by media art from the University of the Arts in Bremen and a postgraduate fellowship at the University of the Arts in Berlin. Her artistic works have been featured in numerous international exhibitions and garnered critical acclaim.

Illustrator and book designer Robert Nippoldt has a degree in graphic arts and illustration from the Münster University of Applied Sciences. His book trilogy on America in the 1920s and 1930s garnered great attention, same as "Night falls on the BERLIN of the Roaring Twenties". In addition he has been touring with his revue show "A mysterious shimmer", "The Great Gatsby" and "CANDIDE - a COMIC OPERETTA".

The illustrator and children’s book author Christine Nippoldt supports Studio Nippoldt with her sharp eye and expertise in animated film. Since her studies at the Bauhaus University in Weimar, she writes and illustrates books for children and adults. Projects near and dear to her heart can be found under her pseudonym, Lilli L‘Arronge.

The visual artist and sculpturer Reinhard Fichtner adds the third dimension to Studio Nippoldt.
